Exposure Intensives
Focused 3-hour and 6-hour exposure sessions in your home or out in the community — for when symptoms are severe, exposures can't happen in a standard session, or you want to make progress more quickly.
How it works
- Intensives are offered as 3 or 6-hour blocks of treatment.
- We meet where the exposures live: out in the community, or in your home.
- Intensives available on select weekend days.
- We design a plan together beforehand, so the extended time is spent on the exposures that matter most.
- Intensives can stand alone or complement your ongoing individual therapy.
An intensive might be a fit if…
When symptoms are severe
Symptoms are significantly interfering with daily life, and weekly sessions feel too slow for the level of need. Maybe you are unable to leave your home, work, care for yourself, or spend hours caught up in rituals. With this option, you'll have more concentrated, in-person support, for the things that feel hardest.
When exposures can't fit a standard session
The situations you need to face, whether at home, at a store, on the road, can't realistically happen over video in 50 minutes. This may include helping you leave your home for the first time in months, fly on an airplane, drive, be around pets or children again, cook for yourself, return to work, or countless other scenarios.
When you want faster progress
You'd like to concentrate your treatment and build momentum over hours or days rather than months.
Pricing
Intensives go above and beyond what insurance covers, so they are cash pay only. Sliding scale available based on income.
3-hour intensive
A focused half-day block for a targeted set of exposures. This is good fit when you want concentrated work on a specific fear or situation.
6-hour intensive
A full-day block for deeper work across multiple exposures or situations.
