Meet Emily

A therapist who knows OCD from the inside.

I work with clients navigating OCD, anxiety related disorders, and acute PTSD — many of whom are in the LGBTQ+ community. With over a decade of clinical experience and training, as well as lived experience with OCD, I use modalities backed by science to help you step out of your intrusive thought loops, disengage from compulsive behaviors, and move towards what matters to you. My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and empowering.

I was drawn to this work because of my own experience with OCD. I know what it's like to be bombarded with painful, unwanted thoughts that spiral out of control and take over your life. I've worked in inpatient, outpatient, and community-based settings, completed several ACT and CBT trainings, as well as ERP training through Cognitive Behavior Institute. I also engage in ongoing consultation groups with other OCD therapists. I've seen, both personally and professionally, how effective the right treatment can be.
